LAKE STEVENS — Arlington had a runner on second in the top of the seventh inning with the potential winning run at the plate, but Lake Stevens pitcher Kevin Lanto produced a strikeout to end the game and earn the save. The Vikings jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one inning thanks to Dylan LaVelle and Jake Nelson, who both had a pair of hits on the day. LaVelle knocked in three runs. JP Cox picked up the win and the Vikings remained unbeaten in Wesco North play. Cox struckout five and gave up five hits in five innings. Colten Hordyk batted 2-for-3 for the Eagles and scored twice.
