Fire damages Lake Stevens home

LAKE STEVENS — Fire damaged a bathroom in a Lake Stevens mobile home Wednesday night, but it could have been much worse.

“Basically, it was a quick knockdown,” Snohomish County District 8 battalion chief Bruce Huston said.

The fire was reported around 6:30 p.m. in the 8900 block of 12th Pl. SE.

There were no injuries, Huston said.

The fire appeared to be caused by an electrical problem.

Firefighters from Snohomish and Marysville also responded to the blaze.
