Granite Falls kitchen fire damages home

GRANITE FALLS — A kitchen fire displaced two adults and two children Tuesday morning in Granite Falls.

The fire broke out about 10 a.m. in the 500 block of Stilley Way, officials said.

Crews from Granite Falls, Lake Stevens and Getchell responded. They extinguished the fire in about 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire was accidental, according to the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office. The damage was estimated at $30,000, mostly from smoke.
