Republicans are not playing fair

While I fully agree the country has to balance its budget, and one day soon must stop going deeper into debt, the Republicans are not playing fair. They dug us into this hole we’re in (remember the budget surplus?), and now they refuse to pay any part of the cost of digging us out of it.

If the government really finds itself unable to pay its bills on Aug. 3, there will be serious retribution. I suspect the tea party Republicans really think the voters are too stupid to know who’s to blame. It will be interesting to see if they are right.
