Dog is there for rape victim in the courtroom

It’s in New York, where Rosie the courtroom dog sat in the witness box with a 15-year-old girl who had been raped and impregnanted by her father.

The therapy dog helped her feel more comfortable in the courtroom.

When Snohomish County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tobin Darrow was asked about dogs in the courtroom, he said dogs can be particularly helpful for traumatized children, according to care2.com.
