EVERETT — Two people won lottery jackpots Friday.

The winners claimed a total of $315,000 playing the Washington Lottery draw game, Hit 5.

Glen Hecathorn, 65, of Lake Stevens, won half of a $130,000 Hit 5 jackpot. The other half of the prize went to a Kelso resident in June.

Hecathorn, who works at Boeing, said he plans to put the money toward purchasing a home once he retires.

The second winner was Heather Goneau of Everett. She won $250,000 playing Hit 5.

Goneau, 77, said she doesn’t have any big plans for the money, and added that she was in complete shock when her husband, Roger, told her they won.

The winning tickets were purchased at Jay’s Market in Lake Stevens and at Buffalo Chevron & Car Wash in Everett.
