Boeing loses order for six 787s

The Boeing Co. added orders for 102 aircraft this week but dropped six 787s from its backlog.

On Thursday, Boeing confirmed an order from Delta Air LInes for 100 737s.

Boeing also added an order for two 777s from an unidentified customer this week.

It logged a cancellation for six of its 787 jets. The company expects to receive Federal Aviation Administration certification on the 787 on Friday. Boeing has cancelled off orders for 26 of its 787s this year.

The jet maker has 370 net orders through Aug. 24, according to its website.
