Prep girls soccer: Granite Falls 4, South Whidbey 0

GRANITE FALLS — Winter Wirkkala scored twice and dished out two assists for Granite Falls in its Cascade Conference win over South Whidbey (0-1 league, 0-1 overall). Kaila Green opened up the scoring for the Tigers (1-0, 2-0) with a goal in the 13th minute which was soon followed by Wirkkala’s first in the 21st minute. Wirkkala notched her second in the 57th minute and Tia Ceravich capped the scoring in the 74th minute. Granite Falls keeper Courtney Young earned the shutout.
