Second Boeing 747-8 freighter leaves Everett

Cargolux took off with its second Boeing 747-8 freighter just after noon today.
Boeing delivered its first 747-8 cargo plane to Cargolux yesterday, following a more than three-week delay due to contractual issues between Boeing and Cargolux. After receiving the first freighter yesterday, Cargolux loaded the jumbo jet in Seattle before heading to Luxembourg.
The carrier’s second 747-8 freighter left Everett’s Paine Field at 12:45 p.m. and will fly directly to Luxembourg, according to FlightAware.
