Prep football: Cedarcrest 46, Granite Falls 0

GRANITE FALLS — Martin Vakamoce had nine carries for 57 yards and a touchdown for Cedarcrest in a Cascade Conference win. Chris Dowd also had five carries for 57 yards and a TD. A bright spot for Granite Falls was linebacker Dalton Pierce’s impressive total of 19 tackles. With the win, Cedarcrest is the third seed going into the 2A district playoffs. The Red Wolves host Blaine at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a district play-in game.
