Death at Lake Tye in Monroe ruled a suicide

MONROE — A death at Lake Tye Park in November has been ruled a suicide.

A Snohomish-area man, 28, took his own life at the park around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 23, officials said. It happened near a path on the west side of the lake. There was some police activity in the area during the investigation.
