Kahlotus City Council race decided by coin flip

KOHLOTUS — A city council race in the Franklin County town of Kohlotus ended in tie.

The only candidate who filed, Molly Robitaille, and a write-in candidate, Robert Hagans, both had 21 votes.

KONA reports the race was decided Monday by a coin flip.

The write-in candidate, Hagans, wins the Kohlotus City Council seat.
