Prep boys basketball: Granite Falls 62, South Whidbey 51

LANGLEY — Shawn Madigan scored 22 of his 25 points in the second half as Granite Falls won the Cascade Conference game. South Whidbey led 40-37 going into the fourth quarter, but couldn’t hold the lead due to foul trouble and Madigan, according to Falcons head coach Henry Pope. Riley Larson was also deadly for the Tigers, scoring all 15 of his points on five 3-pointers. Zach Comfort led South Whidbey with 16 points.
