Providence Regional Medical Center is presenting a free Hands-On Health Fair from 11 a.m.-3p.m. today at Providence Cymbaluk Medical Tower, 1800 13th St., Everett.

Providence physicians and nurses will host more than 35 interactive booths and a variety of health activities. Maternity services, cardiac services, emergency services, sexual assault forensic nurses, stroke clinicians, SafeKids of Snohomish County, the American Heart Association, March for Babies and others will provide interactive demonstrations, screenings and prizes.

Volunteer beautician sought: The YWCA of Snohomish County is looking for a licensed beautician willing to provide free haircuts for women using the clothing program.

Free haircuts would be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. on two Thursdays a month. The Working Women’s Wardrobe program in Everett offers free professional clothing to low-income women seeking clothing for an interview or job.

Shoe drive: Hope 4 Hoopers will hold a drive today to collect athletic shoes for underprivileged kids in the Portland area and in the Philippines.

People can drop off the shoes at the Everett Community College Student Fitness Center at the women’s and men’s games at 4 and 6 p.m. today.

Admission to the games is free with the shoe donation.
