Registration is now open for a free, one-hour class at Mountlake Terrace Library on how to search and download Kindle-format e-books available through the system’s Overdrive Media Collection.
The class is scheduled for 7 p.m. March 29 at the library at 23300 58th Ave. W., next to the old City Hall.
People who attend will also learn the features of My Digital Account and the steps in the checkout process.
A variety of tip sheets will be available. Space is limited, so online registration is required. A Kindle is not needed for this session.

Mukilteo Historical Society Meeting: The general meeting of the Mukilteo Historical Society will be held 7:15 p.m. Thursday in the Fowler Room at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Avenue, in old town Mukilteo.
The featured speaker this month is local history buff Jack O’Donnell, with a program called “Seems Like Yesterday.” O’Donnell’s column of the same name appears daily in The Herald. The meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
Free concert on Saturday: Looking for a soothing experience to give you a break from the stress of life?
Sacred Harmonies will perform its seventh annual Strings of Light harp concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Spirit of Grace United Methodist Church, 3530 Colby Ave., in Everett.
This free concert features musicians trained to help ease pain, restlessness, agitation, sleeplessness and labored breathing at the end of life.
