Meeting to discuss safety issues in Sultan

SULTAN — The city of Sultan and the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are planning a community meeting to talk about the Block Watch program and other safety topics.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sultan High School Commons, 13715 310th Ave. SE. Everyone from the Sky Valley is welcome to attend.

Local officials will be on hand to answers questions about public safety and crime trends in Sultan and surrounding areas, city administrator Deborah Knight said.

Speakers are expected to include Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick, Snohomish County Sheriff John Lovick and county prosecutor Mark Roe.

The meeting also will include information about the Sultan Block Watch program and how to get involved.
