Societal priorities are upside down

Wow! What a powerful column, “A celebrity who shuns the limelight” written by Kathleen Parker in Wednesday’s Herald. Her last line: “Ignoring the best while celebrating the least — it’s what we do” should be put on a bumper sticker. Our priorities in America seem to be turned upside down right now.
