Man dies in car fire in Okanogan County

MALOTT — A man died in a car fire near the town of Malott in Okanogan County.

Sheriff Frank Rogers told The Wenatchee World emergency responders found the body in the burning car Tuesday off the end of a driveway.

Rogers says 82-year-old Neil Burnett may have suffered some medical event that caused him to leave the driveway.

The car high-centered on a bale of hay and caught fire.
