Sensationalizing headlines wrong

The headline for the Monday letter concerning apodments read, “Most are so tiny it’s hazardous.” Although the writer certainly does not view apodments in a positive light (which is their privilege), nowhere do they refer to them as anything related to “hazardous.” So, why is the Herald editorializing by slanting the heading to a more extreme representation? In my view, that’s just poor journalism!
As a final comment, whether you like them or despise them, for some people, apodments do provide an affordable option between a conventional apartment and sleeping in your car!
