New Black Ball ferry dock in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — Vehicles from Victoria, British Columbia, aboard the Black Ball ferry Coho are landing at a new dock in Port Angeles.
The $4 million concrete dock replaces a wooden dock. It went into use Tuesday and Black Ball plans a May 18 grand opening.
The Peninsula Daily News reported the larger dock should help improve the traffic flow in the summer tourist season when the Coho makes three daily runs instead of two.
