SEATTLE — A man accused of taking more than a mile of wire from runway lights at Sea-Tac Airport pleaded guilty Thursday to theft of public property.
As a result of a plea bargain, the U.S. attorney’s office is recommending a two-and-a-half prison term when 50-year-old Timothy Lynch is sentenced in January in federal court.
Replacing wire and repairing damage last February cost the FAA more than $30,000.
