SPOKANE — Gonzaga University is holding an open house Saturday to celebrate the centennial of Bing Crosby’s boyhood home.
The Spokesman-Review reported the home was built in 1913 by Crosby’s father and uncles in a Spokane neighborhood now covered by the campus.
The Crosby House is a tourist attraction for people who want to see where the singer learned to love music. Crosby attended Gonzaga for a time before joining a band in 1925.
