Lane closed on Highway 92 Saturday for painting

LAKE STEVENS – One lane on Highway 92 in Lake Stevens is scheduled to be closed Saturday for lane painting.

Crews working for the state Department of Transportation plan from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to flag drivers through two new roundabouts at 99th Avenue NE and 113th Avenue NE. The crews will complete work at one roundabout before moving the work to the other. This painting work is weather-sensitive.

The $7.7 million roundabouts opened to traffic earlier this fall. They are designed to improve traffic flow and reduce the risk of serious accidents at the two intersections.
