Gala fundraiser

Clothes For Kids, a Lynnwood-based nonprofit that provides wardrobes for students from low-income families, will hold Ready For Takeoff, a dinner and auction fundraiser, at 6 p.m. May 29 at the Future of Flight Aviation Center at Paine Field, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo. The event features a silent auction, no-host bar, seated dinner and live auction. Tickets are $100 and available until Thursday at www.clothesforkids.org.

Legislator to meet with constituents: State Rep. Ruth Kagi, D-Seattle, whose 32nd Legislative District includes parts of Snohomish County, will hold a town hall meeting on Wednesday from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lynnwood Library, 19200 44th Ave W.

Topics will include the 2014 legislative session and goals for 2015. The update will be followed by an informal question-and-answer session.
