Ticor Title opens office in Everett

Ticor Title, with offices in King and Pierce County, opened its first Snohomish County Branch in Everett on July 3. It is located at the 2825 Colby Ave. in Suite 300. Ticor Title is licensed for real estate transactions within Washington State and is a member of the Fidelity National Financial Group.

Port of Everett launches new website

The Port of Everett launched a new mobile-friendly website on Oct. 21. The upgrade is an effort to continue to meet the information needs of its constituents, and also to catch up with today’s digital technologies. In recent years, the Port identified that the majority of its web visitors are accessing information from mobile and tablet devices.

Ford dealership gives $4,000 to Terrace football program

At the Oct. 17 Mountlake Terrace High School homecoming game, Bill Pierre Ford presented a check for $4,000 in support of the school’s football program. The donation was raised through Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR School program. Washington state Ford dealers have raised nearly $300,000 for their local high schools through the program.

Garden show to be held in Everett

Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs State Holiday Show returns to Everett. The show, featuring eight local garden clubs, is open from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 5 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Everett Holiday Inn at 3105 Pine St., Everett. Tickets are $8 in advance from Everett’s Stadium Floral Shop.

Grant writing workshops offered in Sultan

In partnership with the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce, the City of Sultan will host free grant writing workshops. Farm recordkeeping workshop offered in Everett

A workshop, “Farm Recordkeeping for Productivity and Profitability,” will be offered 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 8, at Washington State University Snohomish County Extension’s Cougar Auditorium, 600 128th St. SE, in Everett.
