Ferry schedule system stops working, can’t take summer reservations

Shortly after the summer ferry schedule was released yesterday, the reservation system stopped working. Washington State Ferries can’t take summer reservations online or by phone until it sorts out the technical glitch.

You can, however, still make a reservation for the spring schedule, which runs through June 13. To make a spring reservation, go online or call 1-888-808-7977. Reservations are available for the Anacortes/San Juan Islands, Port Townsend/Coupeville and Anacortes/Sidney, B.C. routes.

Repairs to the system are expected to take at least a week.
