LYNNWOOD — For a second time this week, Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes detectives are looking for tips to identify an armed robbery suspect in south Snohomish County.

The robbery occurred around 5 p.m. May 12 at a coffee shop in the 600 block of 164th Street SW.

Surveillance video shows a man wearing a white baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, white T-shirt, sunglasses and camouflage shorts enter the store.

After asking an employee for permission to use the bathroom, he’s shown pulling out a handgun.

The suspect then went behind the counter and forced the employee to empty the cash register into a white plastic shopping bag.

The incident occurred on the same street five days after another business was robbed at gunpoint by two men.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office anonymous tip line at 425-388-3845.
