SEATTLE — An Everett man faces at least 15 years in federal prison after a jury this week convicted him of multiple gun and drug charges.

Police in Snohomish County were investigating allegations that Seth Morgan, 33, was slinging dope. He was arrested in 2013 leaving his north Everett apartment. Jurors were told that cops found methamphetamine, heroin and oxycodone in his backpack. He also was carrying a pistol that had been stolen from a Snohomish Fred Meyer. Investigators learned that Morgan bought several of the 29 guns taken during the store burglary.

Morgan has multiple felony convictions. At the time of his arrest he was wanted for failing to report to the state Department of Corrections. He was being supervised for rape and drug convictions.

Morgan is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 18.
