Vehicle collides with bicyclist in Mill Creek; driver flees

MILL CREEK — Police in Mill Creek are investigating a hit-and-run collision that sent a bicyclist to the hospital early Wednesday morning.

The man, 53, was listed in critical condition at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. at 35th Avenue SE and Silver Crest Drive.

A witness described seeing a silver SUV with damage on the side driving westbound on Silver Crest Drive after the sound of the collision was heard, Mill Creek police officer Ian Durkee said.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit and Mill Creek police were at the crash scene.
