The Gather Event: Help raise money to provide physical relief and offer hope to the hundreds of thousands of refugees streaming across Europe, watch a presentation by Samaritan’s Purse, then step into a winter wonderland and shop a silent auction at The Gather Event, 2-5 p.m. Nov. 28 at Calvary Fellowship, 23302 56th Ave. W, Mountlake Terrace. Open house: See the new Faith Community Center following the 10:30 a.m. service Nov. 29 at Faith Lutheran Church, 6708 Cady Road, Everett. The Community Center houses the church’s food and clothing bank. In its first month in October, over 1,200 people were served. Volunteers as well as donations of food and warm clothing are needed. Taproot show: Taproot Theatre performs “Hark the Harold,” 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at Zion Lutheran Church, 329 Avenue A, Snohomish. Nativity Festival: The Arlington Nativity Festival runs 5:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and 11 and 3-8:30 p.m. Dec. 12 and 13 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Smokey Point, 17222 43rd Ave. NE. Living Interfaith: Steven Greenebaum leads the Nov. 28 service, “Why Give Thanks?”, exploring “why gratitude is not only important but why our spiritual paths keep nagging us about it!” Living Interfaith meets at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 6915 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.
