Man struck by car in Mukilteo seriously injured

MUKILTEO — A man was seriously injured Thursday night after being struck by a car outside the Mukilteo Diamond Knot Brewery on Front Street.

The man was a Diamond Knot employee who was outside on a break. Just after 5:30 p.m., a woman in a van took a sharp turn into the parking lot and struck the man, pinning him to the brick wall, according to the fire department.

Firefighters freed the man, believed to be in his 30s, and took him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The woman in the van was unhurt. Police are investigating. No new information was released Friday.
