Washington Cask Beer Festival: The Washington Brewers Guild will host its 2016 Washington Cask Beer Festival March 19 at Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. Sample a wide variety of cask-conditioned beers from more than 40 Washington breweries. There will be two sessions: noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $40 advance and $45 at the door, and include a tasting glass and up to 25 tastes. Harley’s &Hops: Emerald City Harley in Lynnwood will host Harley’s &Hops from 6 to 9 p.m. March 25 at 5711 188th St. SW, Lynnwood. There will be 15 local breweries pouring beer, including Diamond Knot, Dreadnought Brewing and Whitewall Brewing, three live bands and a barbecue. Seattle Scotch &Beer Fest: The Seattle Scotch &Beer Fest is March 25 and 26 at Fremont Studios, 155 N. 35th St., Seattle. Enjoy flights of Scotch, including tastes from Northwest distilleries like Hood River Distillery and Sound Distillery. Whiskey Ridge Brewing Anniversary Party: Arlington’s Whiskey Ridge Brewing is celebrating its first anniversary with a party from 2 to 8 p.m. March 26 at the brewery, 116 E. Fifth St., Arlington. Fish Tales &Ales: The second annual Casting for Recovery fundraiser Fish Tales &Ales is March 26 at Flycaster Brewing in Kirkland. Tickets include food, drinks, music and silent and live auctions. Casting for Recovery aims to enhance the quality of life of women with breast cancer through a program that combines breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing.
Brush ‘n’ Brew: Vine and Palette presents Brush ‘n’ Brew at Everett’s Crucible Brewing on March 23 and Snohomish’s SnoTown Brewery on March 31. Vine and Palette will walk customers through instructions on creating their own masterpiece while they sip craft beer. No experience necessary. Taste of the Northwest: Bethany’s 11th annual Taste of the Northwest is 5 p.m. April 15 at Xfinit Arena’s Edward D. Hansen Conference Center Grand Ballroom. There will be a number of local wineries and breweries, food and live music. There will also be a silent auction and raffle giveaway. Tickets are $25. Stogies ‘N Hops second anniversary: Lynnwood’s Stogies ‘N Hops will celebrate its second anniversary from noon to 5 p.m. April 9 at 526 164th St. SW, Lynnwood. Deschutes Brewing will bring 12 beers on tap, including 2015 Abyss Reserve, 2015 Black Butte Reserve XXVI and 2015 Barrel-aged Jubel. There will be cigars and Korean barbecue. Proceeds from the benefit Thrive Tutoring Program for Kids.
Snohomish on the Rocks Distillery Festival: The fifth annual estival is April 23 at the Thomas Family Farm in Snohomish. Taste spirits from more than 20 Washington distilleries. General admission tickets are $35 and include five tastes, a shot glass and a $5 food coupon.
