MONROE — Two boat launches on local rivers are closing this week and next for repairs.

The High Bridge Water Access Site on the Snoqualmie River near Monroe is set to close Thursday and Friday. Workers with the state Department of Fish and Wildlife plan to replace damaged planks on the boat ramp.

The boat launch is less than five miles south of Monroe off Crescent Lake Road.

The public boat launch at Hat Slough on the Stillaguamish River is scheduled to close for four days while workers repair damaged portions of the ramp. The boat launch is about three miles south of Stanwood off Marine Drive. The closure is scheduled for Sept. 12 to 15.
