Peoples Bank chairman Charles LeCocq plans to attend a celebration of the opening of the bank’s flagship location from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 2702 Colby Ave., Everett. The $3.3 million financial center opened in July. Snohomish County is the third largest FDIC insured deposit market in the state, with Everett representing a $2.2 billion deposit market which is expected to grow 3 to 5 percent annually over the next decade. The public is invited to attend the event.

Volunteers needed for Everett nonprofit thrift shop

Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County is seeking volunteers for the New & Again Thrift Shoppe located at 3010 Grand Ave., Everett. Positions include casher, sorter, pricing and more. Edmonds rehab center to hold open house

New senior living community Prestige Post-Acute and Rehab Center – Edmonds is holding an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The 48,782 square-foot building replaces Prestige’s aging center at the same location at 21008 76th Ave. W. The center can accommodate up to 80 patients in private and semi-private suites for post-acute rehabilitation after a hospital stay.
