Jim Page: Folk, blues and storytelling, 7 p.m. Sept. 23, Cafe Zippy, 2811 Wetmore Ave., Everett. Donate $10 to $15. Page has shared the stage with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris and J.J. Cale.

The Stereo Wire Presents: Henry Yarsinske of KSER is hosting a show at 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Anchor Pub, 1001 Heweitt Ave., Everett. Tickets are $5. Bands are Midnight Lights, Crystal Desert, Greet the Sea, and Fauna Shade. DJ Swade will spin tunes between the bands.

Bill Davie and Jim Page: The singers each present Americana and roots music at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets are $15 for students and seniors, $20 general; thumbnailtheater.com.

Ambrosia: The L.A. band that brought you the 1975 hit “Time Waits for No One” plays at 8 p.m. Sept. 24, Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. Tickets are $36 to $49; 425-258-6766.

Steel Magic Northwest: This south Snohomish County nonprofit organization offers an after-school music program for middle school and high school students who want to play steel drums. The program is set to start Sept. 26 in Edmonds; www.steelmagicnorthwest.org.

Jazz at the Center: Julian MacDonough, a well-known jazz drummer from Bellingham, performs with Dixie, a six-piece Louis Armstrong tribute band, at 7 p.m. Sept. 28, Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Tickets are $20. Free for students with ID.

Organ virtuoso David di Fiore: The internationally known organist performs at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 2301 Hoyt Ave., Everett. His recital will be played on the church’s 3-manual, 28-rank Balcom &Vaughn/Bosman pipe organ. Originally from Seattle, di Fiore’s last performance at Trinity was at the dedication of the organ.

The Coats: The Northwest’s premier a cappella vocal band performs for a fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd, Arlington. Admission is $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit Hope Unlimited’s outreach to single-parent families and chaplain support services for law enforcement and fire agencies in north Snohomish County and on Camano Island.

Maltby Bluegrass Jam: First Saturday of the month, beginning Oct. 1, at the Maltby Community Club, 8711 206th St. SE. Open jam at 2 p.m., potluck at 5 p.m., stage show at 6 p.m. Call Jan Jones, 360-568-3685.

Music in Motion marching band competition: Kamiak High School Show Band presents its fourth annual marching arts competition at noon Oct. 1 at Goddard Memorial Stadium, 200 120th St. SW, Everett. Adults $15; students, seniors, military $10; family pack $40; preschoolers free.

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra: Tickets for the 2016-17 season are available at www.pacificachamberorchestra.org. The opening concert is 3 p.m. Oct. 2 at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller, Everett, featuring Volkmann’s “Serenade for Strings” and Elgar’s “Sospiri for Strings.”

Everett Philharmonic Orchestra: Tickets for the 2016-17 season are available at www.everettphil.org. The Masterworks Concert is 7 p.m. Oct. 8 at Everett Civic Auditorium at Everett High School, featuring pianist John Picket playing Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.”

Seattle Rock Orchestra: The orchestra brings the music of Pink Floyd to the Historic Everett Theatre at 8 p.m. Oct. 8, 2911 Colby Ave. Tickets from $25. Call 425-258-6766.

Gypsy Soul: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8, Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets $20. The duo plays roots rock, pop, blues and jazz.

Country Girls Sing the Blues: A fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, this concert at 8 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Red Curtain, 9315 State Ave., in Marysville features Marcia Kester, Bev Cloer, Jenny Wiltse and Britta Grass singing tunes by Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline and Dusty Springfield. Jamie Laval: the U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion performs at 4 p.m. Oct. 9 at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets $20 or $12 for students and seniors.

Un-Wine-d Wednesdays: Live music and tastes of local wines are offered by Marysville Rotary from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 with the Danny Ward Trio and Nov. 9 with Soulevard at the city-run Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St.; 360-363-8400. Tickets are $5.
