Home prices in Snohomish County bounce back to near $400,000

Median prices for single-family homes again bumped up against the $400,000 barrier in September in Snohomish County.

The median price for houses sold in the county reached $395,000, according to numbers released from Northwest Multiple Listing Service on Thursday.

The median prices for single-family homes reached that number in June, but prices had slid in the past couple of months.

The total number of homes on the market in September was 1,857. That’s down from 2,122 for September 2015.

Listings generally start dropping in November, according to the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.
