Letter: Thanks to generous donors for supporting children’s health

As members of Guild C of Providence General Children’s Association, and co-chairs of the “Fashion with Compassion” fundraiser, we would like to offer our thanks to the businesses and individuals who helped make our event a major success.

Along with the outstanding members of Guild C, we would like to thank our volunteer models, guests, silent auction donors and the terrific folks at Burkett’s Savvy Clothing in Everett and BeeBops & Lollipops in Snohomish for outfitting our models for the show and donating proceeds from their sales to our event.

The fashion show, luncheon and silent auction held at the Everett Golf and Country Club on Sept. 29 raised more than $8,000 to support the health-care needs of children in our community.
