Letter: Clinton imperfect, Trump dangerous

I am voting for Hillary Clinton.
She is not my designer candidate. There are aspects which I ideally would add to her and, ideally,
subtract from her.
But I think of this when I listen to and watch Donald Trump: Even if I were in elementary or grammar school — and childhood can sometimes be so very lonely — I would never have accepted Donald Trump as a “friend”- no matter how lonely I felt.
In my child’s mind I would have intuitively recognized him as a bully, as a buffoon, as foolish- someone who could never be a sincere, reliable and loyal friend. Even then I would have understood him to be someone who could and should never be taken seriously, as someone who
could never be trusted to be steady and thoughtful.
I would have sensed — as children can do without having the words to express their feelings — that he was someone who would be only unhealthy in my life — and add nothing positive, at all.
