3 hospitalized after 2-car crash on Camano Island

CAMANO ISLAND — A Thanksgiving Day two-car crash on Camano Island sent three people to hospitals.
The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. off W Camano Drive and Vista Drive, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A 78-year-old Seattle man driving a Lexus was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital before being transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. A passenger — an Everett woman, 94 — was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The 19-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital.
She was southbound on W Camano Drive. The other car was making a left turn from Vista Drive onto W Camano Drive when the cars collided in the southbound lane, according to an accident memo.
