LAKE STEVENS — A fatal crash along Highway 92 on Thursday remains under investigation.

Details about the woman who died were being withheld Friday until her family could be notified, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The woman was eastbound in a Toyota Camry about 3:30 p.m. just east of Lake Stevens. The Toyota apparently struck the guardrail and then crossed the center line, according to an accident memo.

It collided with a westbound dump truck and then went off the road. The truck driver, a 40-year-old Sedro-Woolley man, was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

No additional information was available Friday.
