LAKE STEVENS — A detective with the Lake Stevens Police Department arrested a man who reportedly robbed an Opus Bank on Thursday afternoon.

Police received a call around 12:15 p.m. A man allegedly walked into Opus Bank in Lake Stevens and demanded the money in the till, according to a press release. The suspect then drove off with the money.

A witness caught the car’s license plate number and passed it along to police. About 15 minutes later, a Lake Stevens detective spotted the car in Marysville near I-5 and 4th Street NE, police said.
