National magazine features Marysville music teacher

Brenda Ehrhardt, music teacher at Sunnyside Elementary School in Marysville, was recently included in School Band and Orchestra Magazine’s “50 Directors Who Make a Difference.”
Ehrhardt is the representative for Washington state. She also is the only elementary music teacher included in the list. She was nominated by her former students.
She has been teaching for 31 years.
“My proudest moments as an educator are to see my students continue to love and appreciate music after they have left my school,” Ehrhardt wrote for a magazine interview. “I am proud that what I have taught them about music stays with them.”
