Body found in woods I.D.’d as missing Lake Stevens teen

LAKE STEVENS — A body that was found in the woods near Lake Stevens was identified Tuesday as Ben Keita, 18.

Police have been looking for him since he went missing Nov. 26, according to a Lake Stevens Police Department press release.

The body was found Monday in a wooded area in southeast Lake Stevens, just minutes from Keita’s home.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner determined that Keita’s death was a suicide, according to the press release.
