Edmonds Community College holds a free “Back to College for Adults” information workshop, 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lynnwood Library, 19200 44th Ave. W. Ask questions, and learn about programs of study, campus resources and support programs. State of the city: Mukilteo Mayor Jennifer Gregerson will deliver the 2017 State of the City address at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mukilteo City Hall, 11930 Cyrus Way. Gregerson plans to speak on rebuilding the city’s sense of community, commemorating the lives of Anna Bui, Jacob Long and Jordan Ebner, who were killed in July, and working to confront violence and spread compassion.

Camano winter walk: Friends of Camano Island Parks have planned a guided winter walk at Camano Ridge Forest Preserve at 9:50 a.m. Saturday. The event is open to the public and participants should meet at the Camano Multipurpose Center on East Camano Drive. The walk is about 3.3. miles with a stop at the Kristoferson Beaver Marsh. Dogs are not allowed. Trail booklets and maps are available at the event for a $1 donation. For more information, go to friendsofcamanoislandparks.org.
