EVERETT — A man surrendered to police Tuesday after allegedly stabbing a man at a gas station in south Everett.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called around 11:15 a.m.

Witnesses said two men were arguing in the gas station’s parking lot in the 11800 block of Highway 99. The suspect reportedly stabbed the other man in the abdomen, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

The suspect ran, cutting through the Home Depot parking lot. He reached out to police shortly after and was arrested in the 1000 block of 112th Street SW.

No additional information was immediately available.
