39th Legislative District state Reps. Dan Kristiansen, of Snohomish, and John Koster, of Arlington, will host a telephone town hall at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Residents can quiz the legislators on issues. The hourlong event will be conducted like a call-in radio show. To participate, residents call 425-616-1855 beginning at 6 p.m. Once connected, they can listen in and press the star symbol on the keypad to ask questions. Documentary screening: The American Association of University Women Edmonds SnoKing branch plans to hold a public screening of “The Hunting Ground,” a documentary about rape culture at U.S. colleges, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Edmonds Community College’s Black Box Theatre, 20310 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood. Sasquatch: David George Gordon, author of “The Sasquatch Seeker’s Field Manual,” visits libraries on Whidbey Island this week to explain how to be an effective “citizen scientist” and gather credible evidence. Share your own Bigfoot tales at Gordon’s talks, set for 4 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Harbor Library and 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Langley Library. The Sno-Isle Libraries program is free.
