Woman stabbed to death in Mill Creek is identified

MILL CREEK — Officials have identified a woman who was stabbed to death in Mill Creek on Feb. 21.

Norensa Namber Pillias was 66, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Tuesday. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Her husband, Matt Alton, 52, is accused of murder. He is being held on $1 million bail pending trial. His family has alleged there was a history of domestic violence in the home.
