Last call for breakfast
Wednesday is the last day to sign up to attend the Everett Public Schools Foundation’s annual breakfast fundraiser. The fundraiser is set for 7 to 8:30 a.m. March 8 in the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at Xfinity Arena in downtown Everett. Doors open at 6:45 a.m. The suggested minimum donation is $100. Register at http://tinyurl.com/zqjoolj.

Volunteers needed: The Island County Sheriff’s Office seeks people to join its citizen patrol team. Volunteers check on homes while owners are away, process concealed weapons permits and deliver materials between the Camano and Whidbey Island offices. Candidates must pass a background check and complete a training program. Applications are at the sheriff’s office website, or call 360-629-4523, ext. 7310.
