Norwegian pancakes

The Edmonds Sons of Norway pancake breakfast and bake sale is set for 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Edmonds Masonic Center, 515 Dayton St. Feast on Norwegian style pancakes and all the trimmings for $8, $5 kids 6-10 (younger than 5 are free). There will be live music and free folk dance lessons for kids starting at 10 a.m. Proceeds support local charities and scholarships. More info: edmondssonsof

International Women’s Day: An International Women’s Day celebration is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in Snohomish. The event is to take place at 2nd Street and the Centennial Trail. More info: Karen Guzak at 360-568-1000 or Lya Badgley at 360-348-7059.

Seeking centennial farmers: Snohomish County is trying to find farms that have been under one family’s continuous ownership for 100 years to recognize them at the Evergreen State Fair in August.

Since 2000, the Centennial Farm program has awarded more than 30 farm families a certificate of appreciation, reproduction of historic photos and recognition in an exhibit at the fair.
