EVERETT — Six people, including an Everett police officer, suffered minor injuries Wednesday night in a crash downtown.
Everyone was treated and released from a local hospital, officer Aaron Snell said.
It happened about 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Colby and Hewitt avenues.
The officer was using his lights and sirens while headed westbound to a reported assault, Snell said. In the intersection, his squad car reportedly was struck by a northbound vehicle. The impact pushed the police car into a third vehicle. Two children were among those treated.
No citations have been issued while detectives investigate.
